Is Greg Jennings Regretting His Move?

Greg Jennings Realizes who his quarterback is

I mean, you look at him rolling his eyes in that picture and – without any kind of context – yes, absolutely he is regretting his move.

The move, of course, is moving from the freezing taint of Green Bay to the glory hole of Minneapolis, swapping playing with the Packers for playing with the Vikings. It was all fun and games this summer, when Jennings and Christian Ponder were jaunting around with arms cricked at 90 degree angles, singing show tunes together on the practice field and competing against our defense in 7 on 7s. BUT THEN SHIT GOT REAL and he had to have Ponder throw him passes in real live game situations. And my guess is that things have gone downhill since then.

TO THE VIDEO!

OK, so the video doesn't have anything to do with Greg Jennings' preference for Aaron Rodgers over Christian Ponder, or vice versa, or whatever. The only thing it really even has to do with the Packers or Vikings even is that there are purple colored moving boxes in the background, and Ruxin is annoying Jennings about getting insider info during his move. Christ already, Ruxin, leave the man alone!

This was also just an excuse for me to post the video, clearly. But the conclusions I have already drawn seem pretty common place, don't they? I mean, Ponder has hit Jennings for – what – maybe four passes this preseason so far? Three of them short out routes and one at the sticks or across the middle that almost killed Jennings for 10 yards, maximum? Yeah, yeah … I'd rather play with Ponder too.

Although, like Jennings, I could think of $45 Million reasons why I'd want to play in Minnesota, too. Oh, and Izzy's Ice Cream. That alone is worth the move.

About PJD

I once saw Paul Edinger kick a 56-yard field goal for the Minnesota Vikings against the Green Bay Packers to win a game in the Metrodome. It was exhilarating.
